Summary

Ensinger Precision Components, Putnam Operations (EPC) is recruiting a sales development professional to join our team in Putnam, CT.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Development Representative will have responsibility for sales development and customer support.  Focusing on executing commercial strategy and tactics for the business, the representative will be responsible for meeting sales development goals, at targeted margin levels.

EPC processes high performance thermoplastics to manufacture injection molded solutions meeting the stringent demands of customer applications.  Our core offerings include custom components and near net shapes ready for secondary operations.  With years of experience in advanced manufacturing and injection molding, EPC serves many industries, including: Alternative Energy, Semiconductor, Aerospace & Defense, Medical, Oil & Gas

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (including: Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering)
  • Minimum of 2 years direct B2B sales
  • Demonstrated knowledge and working experience in solution-based selling
  • Strong communication, negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development
  • Demonstrated successful track record, including new sales and quota attainment
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills, oral and written
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%
  • No relocation or sponsorship
