CNC Machining
With dedicated CNC lathes and machining centers, Ensinger Precision Components provides extensive finishing capabilities including turning, milling, and drilling. Some markets — such as aerospace, defense, medical, oil and gas — require tight tolerances. Tight tolerances are not always achievable with injection molding alone, but with CNC machining, we can adhere to the tightest tolerance requirements. Cobots are also deployed for CNC machine tending.
Injection Molding
Using a wide-ranging selection of high-performance plastics, customers are able to utilize our state-of-the-art injection molding facility in Putnam, Connecticut to find optimal solutions. With 40 to 500-ton injection molding machines, variable shot sizes (0.5 ounces to 80 oz.), horizontal insert molding, over-molding, custom automation, and more, Ensinger Precision Components is the North American plastic manufacturing provider capable of doing it all. Our additional equipment includes automation implementation with Cartesian robots for use on Wittman presses and Flexible Universal Robots, and auxiliary equipment such as dryer banks, high temperature oil heaters, and ovens for both annealing and curing.
